Our Residential Rehab Programmes
Person-centred residential addiction treatment in Auckland, with 15-day and 30-day programmes combining individual therapy, recovery support and holistic wellbeing to build strong foundations for lasting recovery.
What We Offer
Our person-centred residential addiction treatment programmes in Auckland are tailored around each guest, with focused 15-day and comprehensive 30-day stays available depending on individual needs, circumstances and recovery goals.
-
Our 30-day residential rehab programme provides comprehensive, individualised addiction treatment in a private and supportive environment. Each guest's programme is developed around their individual needs, recovery goals and circumstances rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
Treatment includes daily therapeutic groups, scheduled 1-1 sessions with an AOD Counsellor, support from an assigned Keyworker and three offsite 12-Step meetings each week, alongside holistic wellbeing activities and preparation for life after residential treatment.
-
Our 15-day residential rehab programme provides a focused period of addiction treatment for people whose individual needs, circumstances or previous recovery experience may be suited to a shorter residential stay.
Treatment is tailored around each guest and includes daily therapeutic groups, scheduled 1-1 AOD counselling, Keyworker support, three offsite 12-Step meetings each week and holistic wellbeing activities. Where appropriate, psychology and trauma-focused care can also be incorporated into the individual treatment plan.
Rather than trying to compress a 30-day programme into two weeks, we identify the areas where support can have the greatest impact during the time available and build the programme around those priorities, alongside a clear plan for continued recovery after leaving Keystone.

Keystone Lodge provides a private residential rehab setting north of Auckland, offering a peaceful place to step away from everyday pressures and focus on recovery.
With a small number of guests, comfortable private bedrooms, shared living spaces and extensive grounds, our environment has been intentionally created to feel welcoming and personal rather than institutional.
-
Treatment at Keystone is tailored to the individual, with scheduled 1-1 AOD counselling, therapeutic group work and ongoing support from an assigned Keyworker.
Our approach provides space to understand the patterns behind alcohol addiction or drug use, develop practical recovery skills and work towards meaningful goals for life beyond treatment. Each guest's treatment plan evolves throughout their stay according to their individual needs and progress.
-
For guests who require additional therapeutic support, psychology and trauma-focused care can be incorporated into their individual treatment plan.
Addiction can be connected with difficult experiences, trauma and underlying emotional or psychological challenges. Having access to psychological support allows these areas to be explored appropriately alongside addiction treatment, while remaining mindful of each person's readiness and individual needs.
-
There is no single pathway into addiction, and we don't believe there should be a one-size-fits-all approach to recovery.
Our person-centred addiction treatment centre is built with each guest around their history, needs, strengths and recovery goals. Treatment plans can evolve throughout the residential stay as trust develops, new challenges emerge and the individual gains a clearer understanding of what they need for lasting recovery.
-
Recovery involves more than addressing alcohol or drug use alone. Our programme incorporates holistic wellbeing alongside therapeutic treatment to support physical, emotional and mental recovery.
Guests are supported through nourishing meals, regular exercise and fitness, Pilates, breathwork, mindfulness and opportunities to reconnect with themselves in a calm natural environment.
-
Residential treatment is the beginning of recovery, not the end of it. Before leaving Keystone, each guest works with our team to develop an individual plan for continuing recovery and navigating the transition back into everyday life.
Our aftercare and relapse-prevention support is designed to help guests maintain connection, strengthen the tools developed during treatment and build the structure and support needed for long-term recovery.

Residential Rehab Programme FAQs
Common questions about our 15-day and 30-day residential rehab programmes, what to expect during treatment and what happens after leaving Keystone.
-
For many people, 30 days provides valuable time to step away from everyday triggers, stabilise, understand patterns of addiction and begin developing the skills and support needed for recovery.
There is no single treatment length that is right for everyone. At Keystone, the appropriate programme and ongoing support are considered around each person's needs, circumstances and recovery goals, with aftercare helping to continue the work beyond residential treatment.
-
A 30-day residential rehab programme may suit someone who needs time away from their usual environment to focus fully on recovery, establish stability and routine, and undertake more comprehensive therapeutic work.
At Keystone, suitability is considered individually, taking into account the person’s alcohol or drug use, previous recovery experience, circumstances and level of support required.
-
Keystone’s 30-day programme combines individual AOD counselling, therapeutic group work, Keyworker and recovery support, 12-Step meetings and holistic wellbeing within a structured residential environment.
Where appropriate, psychology and trauma-focused care can also be incorporated into the individual treatment plan. Throughout the stay, we work with each guest to understand their addiction, strengthen recovery skills and prepare for life after residential treatment.
-
Every person’s recovery journey is different. If additional residential support may be beneficial, this can be discussed with the Keystone team based on the individual’s needs, progress and circumstances.
Planning for what happens after residential treatment also begins during the programme, so there is a clear pathway for continued recovery and support.
-
Our 15-day residential programme may be suitable for people seeking a focused period of addiction treatment, including those whose circumstances, previous recovery experience or current needs may be appropriate for a shorter residential stay.
Rather than compressing a 30-day programme into two weeks, we identify the areas where support can have the greatest impact during the time available and tailor treatment around those priorities.
-
The 15-day programme provides focused residential addiction treatment tailored around the individual. It includes daily therapeutic groups, scheduled 1-1 AOD counselling, Keyworker support, three offsite 12-Step meetings each week and holistic wellbeing activities.
Where appropriate, psychology and trauma-focused care can also form part of the individual treatment plan, alongside planning for continued recovery after leaving Keystone.
-
There is no single length of residential treatment that is right for everyone. A 15-day programme can provide a valuable period of focused treatment and recovery support when it is appropriate for the individual’s needs and circumstances.
For others, a longer residential stay may provide more time for therapeutic work, establishing recovery routines and preparing for life beyond treatment. Our team can help determine which option may be most appropriate.
-
The appropriate programme depends on the individual, including their alcohol or drug use, previous treatment or recovery experience, current circumstances and the level of support they may need.
Our team can have a confidential conversation with you or your family to understand the situation and discuss whether a focused 15-day stay or comprehensive 30-day residential programme may be the better fit.
